A modern home in Pasig shaped by timeless ledges and subtle elegance.
Bahay Pasimano, located in Pasig, is a two-storey residential project that reinterprets a distinctive element from the family’s previous home—the pasimano, or ledge. In this design, the traditional ledge takes on a new role as a lining for all windows, doubling as window sills, while a larger ledge at the stair landing serves as a functional resting bench. This thoughtful incorporation preserves a sense of continuity with the original home while giving it a contemporary twist, blending heritage with modern living.

The façade of Bahay Pasimano is deliberately simple, utilizing a neutral palette of black, gray, and white applied across natural stone and roofing materials. Despite its darker tones, the home avoids feeling heavy or shaded; instead, the careful placement of colors and materials produces a balanced and comforting atmosphere. The result is a residence that feels both grounded and inviting—a modern reinterpretation of familiar elements that emphasizes subtle elegance and everyday functionality.
